Establishing the UNIQ Group in 2001, Veki has successfully built one of the largest privately owned residential property wholesale and finance businesses in Victoria with his partner Liz Licari. Focusing his attention on the finance arm of the UNIQ brand, Veki is widely known in the development industry for being a problem solver and completing complex funding structures. UNIQ Finance has access to a variety of commercial and residential lending providers from the big four banks, specialised commercial and private funders. Veki has also been a match committee member for the North Melbourne Football Club for the past seven years and takes a personal interest in contributing to the ongoing development of players beyond their football career. To this day Veki still holds the record for the largest single transaction through an aggregator – $94M.
With a professional career spanning over 18 years, Liz brings experience, passion and forward-thinking to her role as National Sales Director. Coupled with excellent leadership and customer relationship skills, Liz has the vision and creative flair to oversee the management, marketing and sales approach for every project. She inspires and encourages her professional, vibrant and personable team every step of the way.
Will joined UNIQ in 2015 after completing his Bachelor Applied Science at RMIT with First Class Honours. Developing his work experience across various aspects of property including construction, commercial and residential valuation, Will has now taken that experience and focused it on growing his portfolio at UNIQ. With his easy-going nature and ability to be a calming influence in any situation Will has established a strong portfolio that rely on him to work closely with their purchasers when looking to buy a property. When he’s not working he’s helping his brother run their growing cold pressed juice business.
Hamish joined the UNIQ team late 2015 after completing a successful AFL career spanning 13 years and 126 games with North Melbourne and Geelong respectively. With numerous media and coaching commitments to keep him busy Hamish has effortlessly made the transition to the UNIQ team. Rapidly gaining a reputation for a strong relationship focused management style crafted from his footy career Hamish is finding his feet in the real world effortlessly. With a diverse property portfolio of his own Hamish is successfully bringing his two interests of sport and property together to add value to the UNIQ team.
As Executive Assistant to Veki Brdjanin, Morgan’s extensive experience in property has prepared her for the demands of this very busy role.
With her easy going nature and attention to detail, as the central point of contact for all staff and external suppliers, Morgan keeps the inner workings of the UNIQ office running smoothly.
Marisa’s sales and administration experience has been cultivated through a myriad of different industries, throughout her working career.
Started in the banking sector where her role was scrutinising credit claims, this really sharpened her eye for detail and lead her into the next stage of her working life, directories. Marisa later worked for Big Colour Pages in the marketing department, a position which she felt she thoroughly enjoyed due to the increase of client interaction. This role allowed for her to truly sharpen her ability to think outside the square. After a few years, Marisa moved to hard core sales with Telstra in the Commercial Sector, this involved ringing business clients nationally and analysing their telecommunications structure. She was one of the highest achievers at Telstra winning multiple state and national awards and accolades.
Always looking for a challenge, in 2012 Marisa moved into the property arena, with UNIQ. She was one of the pioneers in the Social Media lead generation for channels and referrals. Her role was quite simply to engage with clients and incubate a desire, firstly, in retiring wealthy and then of course property investing.
This proved to be both rewarding and extremely beneficial for Marisa’s overall understanding of the industry as a whole.
